Mission Statement
Who We Are
Corvettes for Kids, Inc. was organized in 1986 and became a Pennsylvania non-profit corporation in 1991. Our purpose is to assist the families of children with life-threatening illnesses and disabling conditions. These families are enduring financial devastation due to the medical expenses associated with their child’s illness. Our shows have assisted children with cancer, kidney failure, stroke, cerebral palsy, developmental disabilities, and more. The corporation conducts an annual Corvette show, the net proceeds of which benefit these local children. The Executive Board within the corporation screens potential beneficiaries, and selects the current year’s recipient. They also oversee and administer the outlay of funds to the children. The families are required to supply the corporation with continued medical documentation in order to maintain entitlement to assistance.
Our History
The idea for the first Corvette Show and Fundraiser was conceived when a Boyertown area child was diagnosed with a life-threatening illness. The community responded to the family’s financial burden by organizing a fundraiser which featured a Corvette Car Show, an auction, a volleyball tournament, a golf tournament, carnival games and refreshments. The first event proved to be a huge success. An annual event is now held each August.
How Can You Help
Our efforts cannot continue without your support. Monetary contributions are acquired through underwriting, sponsoring a volleyball team, t-shirt sponsorship, a cash raffle and more. Other forms of support include business or individual donations of auction items, participation on a sponsored volleyball team or golf tournament and the donation of food items to be sold at the show. Corvette owners may help by registering their Corvettes for entry in the show. Volunteers are also needed to lend a hand before, during and after the show. Without all of the above components, our show would not be a success. As you can see, the help of our volunteers and contributors is essential to the success of the event. So whether you are a business, community or school organization, church, individual or Corvette owner, Corvettes for Kids, Inc. needs you!

Corvettes for Kids, Inc. is a duly registered (#0010128) charitable organization with the Department of State, Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, for the solicitation of funds for charitable purposes. Grantors and contributors may rely on the fact that Corvettes for Kid, Inc., is an organization described in Sections 501 (C)(3) and 509 (a)(2) of the Internal Revenue Code.
